We have flexible hours and can work around your schedule. One of our case managers will come to your house or meet at a location you are comfortable with. If you are a family member looking for services for a loved one we recommend meeting with both the potential client and family members/friends so all of your questions can be answered. Most consultations take approximately half an hour to an hour.

Think of the free consultation as an information session face to face so it is more personable and easier to get to know each other. You are absolutely not obligated to commit to anything.

Depending on the services required we can be flexible with your needs. There is usually a minimum 3 hour requirement, however we offer so many services to make your or your loved ones life easier it won't be hard to use that time to it's fullest potential. For example if you need help prepping dinner which takes an hour we can also clean the kitchen or other areas of the house, take care of your laundry, take care of your pets needs, play a game of cards with you, book doctor appointments, grocery shop...the possibilites are endless. There are some exceptions that can apply to the minimum hours but that can be discussed in your Free consultation when you book it.

There are several ways to that Unity Home Care Pembina Valley can communicate with you, via email, texts, and phone calls. We provide binders that are written in every shift with a detailed list of daily activities, change in behavior, check lists of medical services that were provided, etc. If our Care Aide feels you should know something important that can't wait until the weekly check-in, you will be contacted immediately. Yes, we absolutley offer transportation services. We are fully insured to drive you in our vehicle or our Care Aides can take you in your vehicle as well. We can take you to an appointment, a store or to meet a friend, whatever you need. We can also pick up medications from the pharmacy for you or groceries and deliver them right to your door.
