After growing up and starting their own family in Calgary, Mike and Christina made their dream come true and bought an acreage in the Evansburg area. They moved in 2016 and love every minute raising their family and spending time with friends. They both knew they wanted to start a business and make a difference in people’s lives. Fortunately, a door opened and an opportunity to start a Home Care Company in the Yellowhead County area presented itself. Both Mike and Christina were close to their Grandfathers, who eventually ended up in nursing homes because their Grandmother’s had Caregiver burnout. If they had the option to have kept their loved one in their own house and hire someone who could give them the care and TLC they needed they would have. This experience is where the couple’s passion comes from. They both are excited to help people of all needs as they successfully grow Unity Home Care Pembina Valley.
Compassionate and Caring
Christina has been working part time with AHS for the past 16 years. This career gave her the flexibility to raise both her children and be apart of their extra curricular activities which included managing sports teams and coordinating tournaments. Christina enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her big heart and passion to help others definitely played a big part to start Unity Home Care Pembina Valley and make a difference to the people in her community.

Fun Loving, Compassionate and Easy Going
Rebecca was born and raised in Alberta. She married her high school sweetheart in 2015 when she moved to Entwistle. That is where they started their family, raising two young girls.
Rebecca has always shown compassion to everyone around her. Naturally she migrated to working in a field where she was able to help people. She began by volunteering with the FCSS, then with the schizophrenia society, she has also worked with adults with disabilities. After taking the time she needed to have her family she found the opportunity to jump back into the workforce with flexible hours and joined the Unity Homecare team.
